New Blood is a competition organized by D&AD that aims to inspire and reward creative excellence in the next generation. Brief set by War Child presents Secret 7. Secret 7, presented by War Child, is a creative brief challenging artists and designers to interpret seven song titles through artwork, with proceeds supporting children affected by war.

 

Design of a record cover for Warsong by The Cure. A flying bird symbolizes freedom, which is why I chose to illustrate a bird to represent the freedom lost due to war. The falling bird depicts the consequences of war and how innocent lives are destroyed. The red color symbolizes blood and suffering. Iillustrations created by me. Student individual project.
