Scope: Design / Illustration / Concept​

Brief: The New Blood competition highlights the next generation of creatives. Brief set by War Child presents Secret 7 is challenging artists and designers to interpret seven song titles through artwork, with proceeds supporting children affected by war. The brief was to create a vinyl cover for Warsong by The Cure.

 

Solution: The falling bird represents the freedom lost due to war, the consequences of war and how innocent lives are destroyed. The red color symbolizes blood and suffering.
